Accessibility

Everyone should be able to find their parish.

Symphonia builds toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA across both the public parish website and the studio. Every public page is server-rendered and works without JavaScript, so it stays legible on older devices and assistive technology.

What we hold to

  • Sufficient colour contrast for text, in light and dark alike.
  • Full keyboard navigation, with a visible focus outline on every control.
  • Semantic headings, labels and landmarks so screen readers can make sense of a page.
  • Respect for prefers-reduced-motion — animation is decoration, never a requirement.
  • Text that reflows and scales; no content locked behind a fixed width.

Where we fall short

Accessibility is ongoing work, and we won't pretend it's finished. If any part of Symphonia is hard to use with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or reduced motion, please tell us — we treat it as a real bug. Write to hello@symphonia.church or through our contact form, and we'll get back to you.
